Lyons Security consistently places only a small percentage of applicants, as we demand only the most highly qualified and competent officers to protect the interests of our clients. Successful applicants undergo the most comprehensive and rigorous pre-employment screening and selection process, ensuring only the most highly qualified applicants are placed.
Lyons Security requires all applicants and security guard personnel to possess a valid high school diploma or G.E.D. Employees must also be able to read, speak, write, and understand the English language, be physically and mentally capable of performing the required duties, be able to think and act quickly and responsibly in emergency situations.
Employees must have the ability to prepare clear and concise reports, retain information, and respond to training to determine an appropriate course of action in various situations. Employees are also required to have a combined minimum of two years security, military, police, post-secondary educational, or other verifiable employment experience.
